Sledding in Morgan...

Recently we went to Morgan, Utah to my Niece Mandi's house to get in some good sledding and get Chase's 8 year old photos taken. We went to the little park there in Morgan and my 3 kids and her 3 kids had a ball! It was perfect enough hill that we didn't have to drag the kids up and down (which was nice cuz, that got them nice and tired) and the weather was great. Later Chase got his pictures done and they turned out so great! (As always, thanks Mandi)

Sean the Inn Keeper...

Sean recently had his Preschool Christmas program. He was the Inn Keeper. My sweet little angel had practiced his line of "There is no room in my inn" for days. We got to the program and he "decided" he was not doing this. We pried him into his costume and sent him with his teacher. We went in and got our seats. Out came the sweet little teacher with all the children in a row. I start thinking where is my son? Then the teacher realizes my son is missing too. We then see her go to the door and pry my child's body in through the door. ha ha. He does not want to do this. She guides him to his spot, which he promptly turns around and decides he is not going to do this. I can say this, once it got going he turned himself around and said his part when needed. Love you my little stubborn boy!

Sunday Cookies...

Recently on a lazy Sunday afternoon we decided we needed to make sugar cookies. Big, fat, buttery... sugar cookies. We pulled out the 100 pack of cookie cutters and we all chose 2 shapes and went to town making, cutting and baking and decorating cookies. When we finished we had about 3 dozen of these little gems. Took us almost a week to finish eating but the kids had a great time!

Jazz Pre-show & Halftime...

Kelsey's dance team was honored to be asked again to perform for the Jazz pre-show and half time on November 29. She's quite the little pro with now 3 of these under her belt.
Her hip hop team performed the pre-show and it was the cutest dance. There weren't a whole lot of people there at that time (which worked out great cuz, I got to watch it from the 3rd row). They also got to meet some of the Jazz dancers and then was able to perform a "modified" version of Carnival for half time. (modified from what they performed in April at the Jazz game.) The Jazz won and it was a great evening. Good job Kels!

Walk in the fall...

Just a note to say "IT'S FALL". Here are a couple of pictures from our last walk (probably for the year) to our favorite spot the AF Cemetary.

Halloween Happenings...

Halloween this year was well....quite eventful.

Kelsey was the "Queen of Hearts" (which worked in perfectly for the neighbor girls who went as Alice and the Mad Hatter).

Chase was suppose to be "Darth Vader" but, his Mom didn't realize that she had purchased an adults costume until too late. So he went as a "Jedi Knight" again. Which he was totally cool with (He's such an awesome kid that way).

Sean went as "Iron Man" and refused to take the mask off for this picture.

The kids all had school parties on Friday and then we had a family party on Friday night to go to. Fred & I went as 80's rockers. Fred looked awesome and everyone said how "natural" that look, looked on him. Ha Ha.

Trick or Treating was on Saturday this year and it was my turn to take the kids out in the pouring rain. By the time we came home I was carrying Sean, his candy, 1 soaking wet Jedi Knight cloak and 2 drenched umbrellas.

Lagoon with the Family...

We went to Lagoon this past weekend. Can I say I love going in the fall better than the hot hot summer. We never had to wait longer than five minutes for a ride and we actually left because the park closed down.
We went with Philip and Tracy and their cute little family. We had so much fun!
Our crazy family went on Rattle Snake Rapids about 7 times. (It's October and cold, mind you)
Chase earned $20 on "being brave" and going on roller coasters. He now actually loves the mouse ride (which I completely hate!). So he is ready for Disneyland next June.
Sean is a little dare devil and we will have to watch out for him when he gets tall enough to ride the "big" rides.
Kelsey by far out braved anyone in our family. She did the Sky Coaster. You know the one they strap you in a little jacket and then dangle you from a little string (might as well be). Aunt Tracy and her sister Teresa also braved the ride. Crazy people! She said when she was done that "I know what it is like to die now". That's a great feeling to know your child was scared enough she thought she was dying.
Any who...hope you enjoy the pics!

Preschool, here we come...

My little guy Sean started Pre-school recently. I just love when they have these stepping stones and you can see them change and grow. He was so excited. He had his bulldog shirt, fast shoes and his red backpack all ready for his first day.

He had an awesome time and got to make a picture with a gallon of glue and lots of blue paint. He thinks his teacher is the best. Bless her heart! She survied Chase in preschool so, I hope she can take my energetic Sean.

Bees Game...

Jarod got us all tickets to the Bees game and we had loads of fun! I don't know which was funner, watching the game or watching some of the crazy people there. Probably a toss up.

We enjoyed dinner at the park and they served Sean's favorite food, HOT DOGS and ICE CREAM! It's been a long time since we had been to a game but, we all made it through(Even though it was past all our bed times) to see the Bee's win the game in extra innings.

First Day of School 2010...

Kelsey and Chase started school on the 25th of August. Yes, we are talking a big 5th grader and a big 2nd grader! They have settled in and made lots of new friends (We spent the first 2 weeks with a different play date every night). They are loving their new teachers and Chase said his teacher is "really cute".

Happy Anniversary Neighbors!!!

Of course we all know that Kelsey wants to be a cake decorator when she grows up. She has folders and folders of drawings that she has created. Our little neighbor girl Rylee was over one afternoon talking about her parents anniversary. Then the girls had a brain storm. Why not bake a cake! So with help from Fred and I, they got the cake baked and the girls went to decorating. This is how it turned out. I say pretty good for your first cake girls!

Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY...

Don't you just love the zoo? Jamie and Lilli invited us to go the zoo in August. My kids just love the zoo. It is always a hit and miss with the animals. Sometimes they are all active and other times they just lay there. This was actually a pretty good trip. We got to see the new baby elephant who was having a great time rolling around in the mud. (Chase thought that would be a great way to take a bath!)

Of course we had to take the traditional photo of the kids standing in front of the Orangutan. I had to take a picture of the Lion drinking fountain. That thing scares me! I have a picture of me standing in front of it when I was little and, you always see each one of the kids put there mouths all over that thing. Gross...

But all in all it was fun. THANKS Jamie and Lilli!

Moose Ears...

What happens when you cut 10 inches off of your hair but, you still need the length? You get the old hair piece out of the closet, that's what you do.
Kelsey performed at the Miss American Fork Pagent a couple of weeks ago and needed to have a messy bun and really only has enough to pull into a pony tail. The hair piece worked but, Kelsey liked doing her "own" hair styles with it.

Where is the best place to sleep?

Sean is at that in between stage, when he doesn't want to take a nap anymore but, really needs one. He came down one afternoon after taking a little nap and told me he wasn't tired anymore. He then went over laid on his father (who was taking a nap) and went to sleep. My two cute TIRED boys!

Morning at the parade...

Locally our town had it's yearly "celebration". Kelsey's dance group was able to participate again. We were lucky enough to have cousins Jamie and Lilli come down to watch and had even met up with some neighbors too.
We were all prepared to watch and cheer on our daughter and knew what side to sit on and everything... Well she decided at last minute to switch. We saw the girls coming and had this panic as we went to find out little girl in this crowd. Before I knew it Fred had found her and was running across the street to take pictures of her. So here you go our little dancer in her hot shorts and cute socks!

Difference between...

I love this picture! Can you see the difference between little girl feet and little boy feet? I love how my boys legs are all dirty and bruised from playing so hard. Of course neither have shoes on (IT IS SUMMER!).

Scissors away...

Sniffle, Sniffle. Kelsey cut her hair! She has wanted to do this for months but, I have told her she had to wait until after the dance season. It was about 10 inches of hair and she loves it so much! I think it's pretty cute too.
