Chase and the play...

Chase's class recently put on some plays for the school and parents.  He was the P.E. coach in "Hansel & Gretel and the Lunch Lady".  I was so proud of him.  He did a really good job, knew his parts and spoke clearly.  We were informed that it was filmed for the BYU Arts Academy for parts to be used with in their education program.

6th Birthday...

Sean turned 6 on Wednesday.  My baby is 6 years old (insert sad face here).  He was so excited for his birthday and got the 3DS that he really wanted along with some games, a razor scooter and a "Thor" hammer that he asked for.  Sean is such a good kid and big part of our family.  He definitely has youngest child syndrome and uses it to his advantage.  He loves to play rough, eat chocolate and do anything big brother is doing.

Yes, really...

Can you believe that we got both of Chase's casts taken off last Monday and Sean broke his arm on Tuesday?  Yes, really.  Can you believe that Chase broke both of his wrists on a slide just 6 weeks before and that Sean broke his arm on a slide too?  Yes, really.  Seriously you can't make this stuff up.  We need to get on some frequent flyer program at the E.R.
Sean broke his arm jumping off of the slide in the backyard last Tuesday.  The day before his 6th Birthday.  He said that he was trying to get away from Chase who had a nerf sword in his hand.  He also told me that I needed to ground Chase for playing with said sword (ironically Sean had the matching sword in his hand)  His left arm was broke clean through both bones.  He was really good about it for the most part.  When asked if he needed to stay home from school the next day he exclaimed "NO! It's my birthday".  We all know that at age 6 you need to be to school to hand out M&M's on your birthday.  (Now for your 35 birthday,  you want to stay home and cry!)  He went to school but, then let me know he thought he could stay home after that.  Don't think so...
